Initial consultation Support programmes

Most ENTHELOS consultations and programmes are available online. This format is suitable for a first meeting as well as ongoing individual work and support, and allows people to contact ENTHELOS regardless of their country of residence.

Initial consultation

The initial consultation is free

Your first conversation with us carries no obligation to continue. It is a calm, confidential consultation where you can ask questions, describe your situation and explore what kind of further support might be helpful.

During the initial consultation, we will help you:

understand your current situation;

understand whether you need a consultation with a medical professional;

identify a sensible starting point and possible next steps;

ease anxiety and tension about contacting the clinic;

make an informed decision without pressure or being pushed into services.

After the conversation, you decide whether you would like to continue working with ENTHELOS and in what form.

Psychiatrist consultation

Assessment of mental health and discussion of symptoms, well-being and factors that may affect the person's condition. Where needed, recommendations for further follow-up, assessment or treatment.

Psychologist consultation

Individual work on emotional well-being, motivation, habitual behaviour patterns, relationships and other psychological difficulties. Consultations may benefit both people experiencing dependence or problematic alcohol use and their loved ones and family members.

Peer support consultation

A meeting with a specialist who combines professional training with lived experience of dependence and recovery. This format may be especially valuable when someone finds it difficult to talk about their experience or does not yet feel ready for more formal therapy.

Healthcare professional consultation

Discussion of current well-being, symptoms and medical questions relating to health, alcohol use, medicines or recovery.

An online consultation does not replace an in-person medical examination.

Online support programmes

A longer-term, structured form of support for people experiencing dependence and for their loved ones and family members. Programmes may include regular meetings with ENTHELOS specialists, individual tasks and work on issues relevant to the person's situation.

The content and duration of the programme are determined by the person's goals and needs.
